Cherry Haiku

Alarmed chirps fill air
Sticky hands grasp cherries
Domain intrusion.

Ladybug dotting
Seventies orange countertop.
Harvest escapee.
Jewel-red tart globes
Dried to withered chewiness
Cheers winter muesli.

Love it!

I'm actually eating a bowl of that very same muesli..sans cherries, drats. Talk about a gorgeous RED.

I've been away on holidays so now I'm catching up on website reading. Those dried cherries look scrumptious in the muesli, your granddaughter is a delight, and your haiku is lovely. I have only played for one outdoor wedding, and fortunately it went pretty well. I've had a few disasters with indoor weddings, playing on a huge tracker action pipe organ. I couldn't see the bride coming down the aisle. Disaster and nervous breakdown.I hope your group is all on the mend.
